Hey guys! I turned 17 yesterday ...

So I woke up and got to open a few cards, rung around to say thanks. We then got ready to go out on our scooters. Amy was meant to be coming along, but she didn't due to the rain. So Mum, Dad (with Sophie pillion) and I rode towards Horncastle. When we were almost there, the heavens opened, and it tanked it down. I was soaking wet, with my jeans sticking to me, my jacket, hoodie and t-shirt wet too!

Half an hour was spent drying off a little before Mum decides she wanted chocolate. So I had to ride out, in the heavy rain, to Tesco to buy her some. Then Dad calls to tell me he's waiting at Tesco when I'm at the top of Crowders Hill! So I pulled in and waited out the way on the verge. 10 minutes later, Dad screams by, and I can't start my T5 becuase I'm sinking in the mud. After wheelspinning, I was loose. And we decided to get Mum and Sophie and just ride home.

We spent a couple of hours at home waiting for the weather to calm. At 6, Amy came round!! We scooted off into Lincoln in search of shoes and lottery tickets. We stopped off at Tesco so I could grab some fuel. Before getting fuel, we dropped in for our tickets and shoes. They hadn't got my size, so we left for fuel with only our lottery tickets! After spending the most I've ever spent on fuel (£6.50), we headed off towards Asda Living, which turned out to be closed. Amy and I nipped off round the corner to morrisons. After and eventful hunt for salad and sandwich filler, and also a bet as to whether I could get a cake back on my scooter in a decent condition, we left Morrisons (without the cake). However, Amy's wheel lock remained jammed on!! So, after waiting from 7.50pm until 9.15pm, including a Maccys , she was rescued! I was the first to leave the carpark, with her parents shortly after. Amy's parents overtook me at North Greetwell and I caught up with them at Langworth due to some divvy doing 40... then going upto 50, then braking. So I got stuck behind her as Jenny and Steven took off into the night. Suddenly, she slams the brakes on and comes to a halt. I swerved like a snake on the wet oily road.... but didn't come off the scooter! I was rid of her at Wragby after getting 'evils' at the traffic lights.

Amy returned home 5 minutes later, and I set off to the scooter rally from earlier. When I got there, there was an band from Edinburgh waiting for me! They'd signed a t-shirt too!! I had a drink with them, and then they went on stage. An hour later after some serious skanking, they came off, I got hugs and kisses and then had to ride home!

Yesterday was honestly an eventful day! One of the best birthdays by far.
